Rough Popcorn Flower

PLAGIOBOTHRYS HIRTUS is a tiny perennial herb with white petals and a yellow center. There are only seventeen populations known today. It is only found in seasonal wetlands in Oregon, preferring vernal pools over any other habitat. The rough popcorn flower is threatened with extinction by destruction of wetlands for agriculture, urbanization, and grazing.
